Short answers to the questions people ask most. Anything else, write to support@ridgework.org.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Create an account and you get the full plan. 14 free days, nothing charged during them. If you add a card, the first €19 is charged on day 15, the day after your free days. No card is asked for, and cancelling before day 15 costs nothing.
What happens on day 15?
Your plan pauses unless you add a card. Your plan and your ready date stay where they are. Add a card and it opens again: €19 that day, then €19 each month until you cancel. No card, no charge. If you added a card during the trial, the plan does not pause: the first €19 is charged that day, day 15.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open Account, then Membership. Under “How to cancel” it says what applies to you. With a card on file, tap Cancel: your plan keeps going to the end of the month you have paid for, then pauses. If you added the card during the free days, cancel before day 15 and nothing is charged. With no card on file there is nothing to cancel: nothing can be charged, and the plan pauses on day 15.
How do billing and receipts work?
Card payments go through Polar, our merchant of record: Polar takes the payment and issues the invoices, and we never see your card number. Once a card is on file, the Membership tab shows “Billing”: your plan, your next charge and its date, and your card. Under it are Cancel and “Card and invoices”, which opens Polar's customer portal to change the card and see every invoice.
What happens when I miss a session?
On today's card, tap Missed. The next days are written from that: missed work is not stacked, and the ready date does not move. If you can do it later this week, tap Move, then tap the day. Wrong day? Tap Move on that day, then tap today. A past day says Log: tap the row. Tapped the wrong one? Tap Change and log it again.
Can I change my objective or my date?
Yes. Open Account, then How you train, and set the new objective or ready date. The weeks are written again from the new date.
Is this medical advice?
No. Ridgework writes training weeks. It does not diagnose or treat anything. Pain, illness or an injury is a doctor's or a physio's call, and in the mountains the guide's decision stands.
How do I delete my account?
Write to support@ridgework.org from the address you signed up with. If you have a card on file, cancel first. We delete your account and your training history, apart from anything the law makes us keep for accounting.
