Vertical test

Kilimanjaro operators that use the vertical test

Some trek operators send the vertical test to their Kilimanjaro clients before the climb, so each climber knows their metres per hour before they go. These are the ones listed here.

Put the test on your training page

Paste this where your clients read about preparing for the climb. Replace your-name with your company's name in lowercase letters and hyphens, so sign-ups from your page are counted to you. The test runs on your page; the plan link opens Ridgework in a new tab.

<iframe src="https://ridgework.org/embed/vertical-test?via=your-name" title="Kilimanjaro fitness test" width="100%" height="640" style="border:0;max-width:640px" loading="lazy"></iframe>
<script>
addEventListener("message", function (e) {
  if (e.origin === "https://ridgework.org" && e.data && e.data.type === "ridgework:embed-height") document.querySelectorAll('iframe[src^="https://ridgework.org/embed/"]').forEach(function (f) { f.style.height = e.data.height + "px"; });
});
</script>

The first line alone works: the test shows at a fixed 640 px height. The script lets it grow to fit the result.
